10 Toes is coming to Buderim…
It’s a huge milestone for our little brewery and a passionate team. 10 Toes Brewery on Sugar Rd is one of the coasts favourite watering holes and community meeting spaces. It’s done us proud and punches above its weight on the national craft beer scene. Never fear 10 Toes Alexandra Headlands is our OG and most humbling site, it’s where it all started and it’s here to stay (another secrets brewing here too..), but as most of you would know we desperately need more space and have been hunting for over 3 years for the ideal location.
When looking for a site we wanted to focus more on connecting to our local community and bring us together. Just being another brewery tucked away from view in an industrial estate was never an option for us or for you. The wait has paid off and we’re so excited to finally be able to share the story and bring something incredible to the Sunshine Coast at ‘The HUB’ North Buderim.
It was a major blow to the area when the Independent locally owned IGA was essentially run out of town after the national conglomerate opened across the road.
We heard the cry around North Buderim for a local family friendly eatery and function space and that’s what we plan to bring (In 10 Toes style of course). The venue will feature approximately 400m2 of mixed seating / dining space, including a ~175m2 fully equipped private function room on the second Storey…? Yep.. a second storey with a viewing deck overlooking the new production facility.
We have big shoes to fill but we believe 10 Toes Buderim will fill them and be a genuine destination and ‘go to’ family friendly community meeting space for Sunshine Coast locals and tourists to the area.
BUT…. WE NEED YOUR HELP…
We currently have a development application in with council for a Material Change of Use to permit the production facility to operate within the zone. The Sunshine Coast City Council have been incredibly supportive and the team from Economic Development have assisted us with navigating the red tape. We are now in the Public Notification Phase (hence the worst kept secret, up to now!!), we are seeking community support, YOUR SUPPORT for this development application.
